Frequently asked questions
Will the shadow show up clearly?
Yes. The silhouette is crisp on smooth, light walls. The darker the room, the stronger it looks.
How far from the wall does it go?
It sits flat against the wall on its mount and throws the shadow outward, so there is no measuring or angling.
Can I use it as a night light?
Yes. It gives a soft warm glow without glare, which is why it suits bedrooms and desk setups.
How do I charge it?
USB-C, cable included. It arrives with some charge so you can try it the minute it lands.
How does it stick up?
An adhesive pad and a small pin mount, both in the box. No drill, no screws, and it comes off without marking paint.
Is it a good gift?
It is the kind of gift people switch on and film immediately.

Why Codex Shadows?
I bought this thinking it'd just be a cool little desk light for my setup but it literally transforms the entire room. When you turn the lights off it projects these insane shadows all over the walls. The aesthetic is actual perfection if you're a fan of the games. Only reason I'm not giving it 6 stars if I could is the cord is kinda short so I had to use an extension block to get it centered on my gaming desk. But honestly idc because the atmosphere for late night gaming sessions is immaculate. My roommates walked in while I was playing and they were blown away.
Ngl the shadow effects on this are actually insane. It looks so clean behind my monitor when I'm streaming. But bro, do NOT leave this on if you fall asleep easily. I woke up at like 3 AM completely cooked, forgot I bought the lamp, saw the giant shadow looming over my closet, and genuinely thought I was about to get flatlined. Huge flex for the setup during the day, but it's lowkey too eerie for a nightlight if you have an overactive brain.
